Stop "privacy-hardening" your Firefox (or Chrome!?), and just use TOR Browser instead

If you config your vpn through a stand alonr tor instance on another port you can get A chain like
TOR->vpn->tor as well Biggrin

My post was based on the User Agent being "leaked", and not tracked- there's a significant difference between both. A simple JavaScript code embedded In the webpage that you're viewing, can grab It.

Bear In mind, Tor Is never 100% anonymous In all facets of It's configuration.

Yes, of course the user agent can be grabbed. However, it is recommended to just stick to TOR Browser's constant user agent string, as practically everyone on TOR Browser (and even other browsers) use it.

A little unrelevant - I'm only using TOR and FF. FF is for normal browsing and streaming (for better video quality and higher speed)
I've been very satisfied with both browsers for their purpose, I don't see why many people don't like FF.

Definitely need to be part of the majority, not minority, hence I certainly agree with Tor's User Agent. The same can be said for other User Agents utilized by most users- you just need to be selective/wise with your choice of string.

Very true. If only, in a perfect world, everybody used the same user agent. Then, the user agent would have lost its meaning anyway, and maybe something else would take over? Confused

TOR browser isn't secured at all, if you'd prefer using it then go ahead, it's not secured as a normal firefox browser (referring to TOR isn't sandboxed in a broker/renderer way)
