Just Stop Oil protesters sprayed powder paint on Stonehenge 1 day before the Summer Solstice celebrations that take place there.

They made their point crystal clear...

Thankfully it is washable but there are big concerns over prehistoric markings that could have been damaged by the paint (the surface of the stones is now under protection) and there's apparently some special lichen that grows on them too.

Yeah, stones just standing around for hundreds / thousands of years are producing so much CO2... makes sense, I see.

I guess they're just trying to think of the most offensive thing they can do to get their names in the news. It's a great tactic to produce massive public disapproval though.
