So, I'm chilling on my computer when all of a sudden I start seeing "Funds added - Sony"

I'm thinking meh, it's just my brother, he'll pay me back, then 5 seconds later another one, and another, and another. Fuckin' jumped on my account faster then hell and changed the password and deleted the wallet pay method.

This is just fucking great, I call Sony up and the customer service person says "it will take 5-7 days, they can deny it if they think you're up to something"..... WHAT THE FUCK WOULD I BE UP TO! HOW WOULD I MAKE MONEY OFF OF DOING THIS!

Now I'm stuck waiting 5-7 days with $170 off my card.... Good day till you figure out your fucking password is on a brute force list, now I have to go through and change all of my 29 account passwords.

Keep in mind that I work one part time job and don't have $170 at all.... This just ruined a great day...

Could always of been RAT'd or etc other exploit/virus/backdoor etc.

The only RAT on my computer is mine, I used it to test if it actually worked out of curiosity.

Your password could've been acquired from another forum/site that was compromised, and then used to get into your Sony account. It happens quite often; it was how this site was pwned after all.

It's true. In my case, they did recoveries on a couple of accounts. Even if you didn't use the same password on your Sony account, you may have used the same one on the email associated with your Sony account.
