That is not true, what about the album "The Martyr"? It was released as a free album in 2011. Awesome album by the way/

First off, it was a mixtape (hence it's free) and it was just a compilation of old, unreleased songs

I suppose you're right, but my point is, he was popular when he was at the top of his game. He is basically retired (unless he's working on something secret?).

Please don't reference me to his "Obnoxious until they shoot me on the day I retire" line

Almost Everyone follows trends and so on, the freedom of choice you pointed out does not work for 99% of the population, why? People follow other people, example, religion, fads, and celebrities. How do you think the fad "swag" started? That is why people like Aleister Crowley existed, he believed that freedom of choice was to be fully free, in his mind if you wanted to fuck a rotten corpse you should. Now that is true freedom. The freedom you are speaking of, it's incarcerated by morals and rules. But then again, a world with no rules could be a dangerous world.

Now to 2Pac's verse, you need to think more than that, he wrote that, about parents in the ghetto and that generation of drug addicts and gangs. That past was transfered to the kinds now, however that is not what fucked up the generation, it was the internet. Now, I am not saying the internet is bad, but going back to the mediocrity side of my argument, parents now-a-days are letting their child be raised by technology. You can, see and read ANYTHING on the internet, and with little to no moral structure, kids emulate those behaviors. Have you played a video game and had a 12 year old kid say "I fuck your mom"? I have. Really by parents being mediocre that is the only example kids are having so they are learning that, I started saying shit like that when I was 18 years old.

The world isn't any stupider than it was 10 years ago or 1000 years ago for that matter. People have always followed others, that is how humans live, however the thing about trends you mentioned.. Its true that people change and adapt to new trends constantly and rarely does anything they want themselves, but that makes them neither stupid or freedom less. To me, full freedom is not doing what you want, its knowing that you can do whatever you want if you decide to do it. ( Be that against laws or not ) That is the only gift we humans are born with, its our sole purpose in life, to use the time we live on what we want. If people want to use that time on following trends, then that is a choice made of freedom. However, the last few generations are currently getting to comfy with their lives, that is why they change and adapt when the world changes. Its a survival instinct, no one wants to be left out, no one wants to be forgotten and most try to become the best of the people. The world has rules to be followed, but rules exists to be broken and to create order, however order couldn't exist without chaos.

Regardless on how you see it, people that follow trends still follow their own ideal of freedom, and their own goals. Just in a different way than you might see it as. The freedom I speak of is constant, and can't be stopped, as its in my opinion the meaning of humans.

You said that the past isn't what messed up the current generation, you said it was the internet and the fact that kids are raised by technology. Now I both agree and disagree with you on this. As I am a a few year younger than you it seems, ( I am 16 years old ) so my ideals might differ from yours. Its true that the internet is a place were one can learn anything, be that good or bad and its also true that a majority of kids these days are raised by internet, games and social medias. However, so was I more or less. Well that might be a little off to say as well.

But you also stated that a person saying [i]I fuck your mom at the age of 12 as a pure bad thing. That is something I can't agree with, and the reason is quite simple. You're most likely raised in the way that says using a swear word like fuck is a negative thing, or so I guess at least. Now not everyone sees that as a completely negative thing, I for example don't. Mainly because its a word, but I say it positive because its a word that lets you get out some feelings. You also mentioned that kids get a negative behavior from certain games, that can be correct and it can be wrong depending on the kid. A person as myself wouldn't be negatively if you ask me, as my childhood wasn't really that filled with much besides negativity. However, I've rarely heard anything negative from my experience, nor do I think of it as a negative experience either. Also, about your comment about a game, I assume you are referring to 10 years old and such that plays games like GTA, Silent Hill and other adult titles? If that is correct, then that too also varies on the person. I spend most of my childhood from 7-10 years old playing titles like them and I've learned a lot from them and they made me the person I am now along with my other experience, but you will have to judge for yourself it it made me a worse or a better person.

I never said that I believed games have an influence on people. I also didn't say that saying "Fuck" is a bad thing. Good and bad are non existent to me. They are labels used to justify or explain an individuals behavior or sole action. I oppose labels and "Good" and "bad" are not excluded. However, when I was raised, people didn't say words like that. Kids had more respect towards others and that is something this generation is lacking. The respect.

I understand your views, but to me, following something is canceling your own ideals and accommodating to other's ideas, just because "that's what everybody else is doing" Now I am extremely against "herd conformity" in fact in my religion that is extremely looked down upon, and that leads to stupidity. Following useless trends just because others are doing it is highly stupid to me. However if something is good FOR YOU then you can get it or follow it.

I didn't say that you mean the word to be entirely bad, but rather more negative than positive. Which it seems like you do as you mean it shows a lack of respect towards others. We share a different on good and bad it seems, as I mean they both exists, but they are opinion based and are causes of natural balance. Now, you mentioned that people didn't use those words to others when you grew up, well I am actually certain they did, just that you didn't notice it that much. ( Its at least that I can base on your current age and the time those type of words have been in use. ) Your main point seem to be that kids lack respect towards others, well I've felt a enormous amount of disrespect towards me my entire life, but I've never pointed my finger at those that have given it to me and said that they lack respect for me. I mean that they lack respect for themselves, they pledge themselves and become a lesser human by not using respect. However, that brings me back to the point that people want to be better than everyone else most of the times. That is why he show respect or disrespect, we insult another person to make that person feel worse about themselves or to make our self feel better. In other words, if we lived in a world were everyone always remained equal to one another, respect would even exist. Well ,that is my view on that at least.

About your religion and views on herding.. Well I do agree with you, and I myself believe that a person should do what they want to spread different ideas, goals and options in the world. If everyone does the same, people will change and the world will too, but only in one direction and not several at the same time. Its both a stupid and a smart way of living, as radical change isn't always good, or bad for that matter. You used the exact words; Useless trends, that is also something I disagree with. As a trend isn't useless to most, people follow them for a reason. Not always because they like it themselves, but because it creates stability, control and peace for that person, thus making even the weirdest trend useful.
