We need a social networking section for webmasters to advertise their sites and such on, and for people to exchange social networking ideas, programs etc.

I believe that, instead, the Web Design section should be made wider and include various aspects of the web (design, showcasing, sharing). This means that it would probably have to move sections, however.

Showcasing won't happen, as that'd allow for advertising. We don't allow advertising at all.

Probably. Well that's lame, perhaps you will reconsider, or add rules to regulate what is "advertised"

Probably. Well that's lame, perhaps you will reconsider, or add rules to regulate what is "advertised"

I make exceptions depending on the site you're posting about. Just drop me a private message if you want to know if I'll allow it. Generally I'll allow personal blogs as long as they don't promote other forums.
