Snapshot 13w24a is Out

UPDATE!: The link above is now updated to 13w24b. This update in the snapshot contains a lot of bugfixes.

In this snapshot Mojang has removed Texture pack support. But they have posted a tool in the blog post which will convert texture packs to the resource packs. Mojang has also added a game rule for the day-night cycle. There is also a few bug fixes.

Ohh! I am looking forward to this one! Though, I am excited to see the new resource pack system.. :3 Hope it works without too many flaws! Also, big thanks for sharing this!

I hope it works as well! I'm going to miss my texture packs but oh well. No problem just trying to be more active and help out!

Glad to hear that you are trying to be more active, and you are certainly helping out! Also, wasn't there something about converting texture packs in that snap? If so, wouldn't one be able to use the older texture packs still?

I wonder when they are going to add horses. I have been waiting for that update ever since I have seen the yogscast play it.

It will be whenever the full 1.6 update comes out I suppose. it is in the snapshots as of now.
