Smuggling weapons to Gaza – the long way #1

DigitalGlobe image of Yarmouk Military Depot shows before and after images of an industrial complex in Khartoum, Sudan that was rocked by explosions last month.

Quote:Just after midnight on October 24, a series of loud explosions shook a neighborhood on the southern outskirts of the Sudanese capital, Khartoum. Within minutes, flames shooting skyward illuminated the area, and the Yarmouk Industrial Complex was consumed by fire.

Witnesses said they heard planes in the area, and a subsequent analysis of satellite images revealed six large craters "each approximately 16 meters [52 feet] wide ... and consistent with craters created by air-delivered munitions," according to the Satellite Sentinel Project, a non-governmental organization that analyzed DigitalGlobe imagery.

As the smoke cleared the next day, Sudanese officials blamed Israel for the airstrike, which destroyed a large part of the complex, including an ammunition plant and some 40 shipping containers.

The Satellite Sentinel Project said: "Nothing remains of the 60-meter [197-foot] building, which appears to have been pulverized in the blast."

They say that Iran is supplying Hamas with weapons, intel, and other forms of support. I really wish this conflict would end, but we'll see. I have a feeling this will only escalate more. Of course, the U.S. will side with Israel.

This won't end quickly. Iran will try to develop nuclear weapons to line up with all the other 1st world countries. When that happens, we can't stop full-out war. The US will be afraid that Iran will fire and kill millions of citizens in the US or any other UN or Non-UN nation. Therefore, they will attack first with invasion of military troops and later on J-DAMs and the Air-Force.

I agree with Ultimatum, and I think we should just stay out of this conflict.

Why would we invade via ground first? Standard tactics is to bomb first.

And no, we won't. Everyone in every country knows that if they fire a nuke, their country will no longer be on the map.
