Oni has hired me to do some custom illustrations for the header backgrounds.
While I was working on that I was thinking about how much i dislike the header.
I have been a part of this forum for such a long time and would to see it be seriously successful.
I think all we would need is a few edits to the general layout and we could really attract new members and get this place popping.

Here is a quick mockup I did of what the header could look like.
I think rolling out an update like this along side a brand new set of custom ficons and userbars would really make this forum stand out.
(which i would do for free if Oni would listen to me and use my work   )

Let me know what you think about the design as well as any feedback of what you think would help the forum become active and awesome.

I speak the truth, the moment I set eyes on It, It really captured my Interest. If It were for my forum, Id have no hesitation In applying It.
It's very appealing.

I like most of it, but I enjoy having a slimmer header (less scrolling/pointless). Background could match more. Not a fan of ribbons either (they aren't very sinister).

That header does look nice but I'm sure I have seen that style elsewhere?

Looks very nice. The background should be a little darker, although that might just be me. Ribbon is gay.
