Sinister.ly Skype Chat Lagg?

Hey guys,

Well, recently I asked Oni to add me back to the Sly Skype chat but it just started lagging as soon as I was added. I remember this was the reason I left in the first place. It's like my whole Skype just starts lagging. Has anyone else experienced this or is it just me?

I don't experience this problem, I don't think other members do, either... Allow the chat to run through for a few minutes and to try and level itself out again.

It does. Upon logging back on overnight when there's 1000+ messages loading and it lags like hell, just give it some time to load through them.

You don't understand, all messages have loaded. And how can it be that it I just joined anyway?

i have lag sometimes
they send me msg like at 12 and i only receive it at 14

Mine has crashed multiple times today. I am not sure why it is so laggy. I've always wanted us to use an IRC, but people aren't consistent about using them.

If it is latancy-lag you're having then thats because microsoft desided to ruin skype by not letting people recieve messages from people they dont have on their friendslist which means they have to run trough someone on your friends list before you get the message, and since everyone in the chat has to recieve the messages generally from the same people it causes a little bit of lag and it may take a while for the messages to get to everyone which is a huge problem for large skype chats like this one.

I haven't looked that up, but if that's the case, everyone should add each other.

The message sync when you log back on is normal, it's just overloaded with 1000+ messages. I don't mind IRC, but I'm not even consistent with using them. I doubt we'd get many active people if it was switched to IRC.
