A man in Singapore was given the death penalty after authorities found him with 2 pounds of cannabis.

Omar Yacob Bamadhaj, 41, was sentenced to death in February, and a court dismissed his appeal on Tuesday.

He was sentenced to death by hanging, the outlet said.

I recently read a story from a long time ago in regards to some American children that were caught doing graffiti in Singapore, and they got caned as their punishment. It seems like Singapore is not a country to fugg around in.

It's not a terrible idea... Under the influence, they'd be less likely to hang people for smuggling a bunch of dried up plants.

I love Singapore and even moved here from the US to run my business near my wife but their laws and death sentence... omg
