Simplest way to make a program spread over a network? (c++) #1
Hello, it's me again.  So I'm working on a program in C++ and I want it to be able to spread to other computers on a network (such as school and other such networks where computers are linked).  I am still not very fluent in C++ so simple solutions that are easy to understand are best, if there are none then a detailed explanation of the entire process.  Thanks again for all your help!

This is hard, look at what services are running on the computers you want your program to spread, if you're lucky you'll find a remote service you can exploit.
Good luck!

Okay, I'll look into this. How reliable is this method?

Use double pulsar and etternalblue you will get to spread fast without authentification. But, the computer's mustn't to be updated with the new updates because this exploit is patched if your computer is updated of all.

If you manage to find a vulnurable service the method will work if that service is running on the target computer and if it's not patched.

And as @davinciomar said, you could try etternalblue for spreading.

It's almost Impossible to provide a definitive answer.

It depends on their overall setup- of utmost Importance the security measures Implemented (server-side), and the actual type of attack your program/tool Is programmed to perform. Whenever I look to exploit a given system and It's database, I always assess It to see what I'm up against.

Ok, how would I do this? I'm a complete novice in this. And the "attack" is just being a pain in the arse. It's more of a prank program.

What security measures (example WAF- Web Application Firewall, IPS- Intrusion Prevention System etc) do they have In place? Is the machine that you wish to Initially execute your tool running on restricted privileges? Any security policies Implemented (that have access levels defined) as part of a domain or otherwise?

It's very difficult to say what you can/can't do "blindly" on my end.

I'll have to look into that. It's a college so I'm assuming they have good security.

If you can do just that, It'll be of big help.

Given It's nature (storing and handling sensitive credentials), I'd say It's safe to assume that they'll have decent security measures In place.
