SubToOptimus released a video a couple hours quickly saying that there is accounts that have found a security breach in YouTube's comment section

When a user tries to interact with the message, it apparently allows the hacker to access most (if not all) of the person's account (private videos etc...)



these comments are made by bots and go through around youtube to steal channels, at the time of that video was recorded, there was around 50000 channels hacked.

This Is quite significant, but I'm just questioning the authenticity of the breach.

I've performed a quick Google search and unless I've overlooked It completely, there Isn't anything to confirm this.

It certainly seems Inconclusive at this stage.

I'll hit a few online searches throughout the day, and see whether there's any reports available.

SomeOrdinaryGamer made a video about the situation, he thinks there is a problem with OAUTH keys beinh vulnerable, but the situation is still very vague, everyone is still waiting for youtube's responce

It's a concern from a security standpoint, but I've yet to locate any reports concluding the matter.

XSS is very underrated, but is quite usefull, there also was an auto-like bot on twitter using XSS

I've heard of this as well, once they take control of the channel they'll delete all the videos and start bitcoin livestream scams
