I know what I need to know on TOR. I'm not saying that the government has some Big Brother eyes going on in TOR, I'm just saying that not long ago the FBI admitted to fiddling with TOR, and this guy apparently didn't take any precautions at all.

The chances of you being found steadily rise the more illegal it gets, especially without some sort backup. From what I understand this guy just completely relied on TOR.

I'm saying that this person had large enough resources to do a much better job at covering his tracks than simply rely on only TOR, one trick ponies don't make it far.

Please, note the word "Only" meaning that it can INCLUDE TOR, just bunched up with more preventive measures.

If you're implying you need something extra besides that (e.g. a VPN) which I think you've been saying that would be absolutely useless.
