Code:
Motherboard: Asus Maximus IX Formula
CPU: Intel Core i7 7700K
CPU Cooler: CoolerMaster Hyper 212 EVO
RAM: 2x16GB Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4
GPU: Nvidia Geforce GTX Titan X

For the case I used an old Azza Genesis 9000B, which works great after 10 years.

Thank you Dismas. I honestly didn't even realise what the specs were!!

(I still love that case XD)

Very respectable specs.

I'm planning to purchase a new laptop soon, with 64 GB of Ram, RTX 3080 GPU, 1 TB SSD and the 11th gen CPU. A few thousand dollars Involved In the purchase.

The difference of respectable, versus incredible.

That said, these parts are 5 years old so they were considered the best at the time.

And can still handle demanding tasks with ease.

They'll be more than enough for what I need. My old specs were still working well for me except my HDD was beginning to fail.

It's not listed, so does this build come with an SSD?

Currently a 1TB SSD. I believe Oni is looking to put in a 2TB HDD to make up for the extra space I need. If I had the money, I'd have bought an SSD on a black friday sale XD Alas, it wasn't to be this year.

Excellent.

The overall performance of an SSD Is second to none.

Along with the SSD, It's ample storage.

I have three 2TB external SSD drives as backups. I cannot afford to lose my sensitive/Irreplaceable data.

I semi-unintentionally have almost everything backed up across several different devices. I need to develop a more sensible back up system so everything is a little easier to find. I never thought I'd be so chaotic with my back ups. But hey, better to have them a little messy than not at all.

It sounds like you have a good system going for your back ups.

When It becomes a regular routine, you'll find that backups will be a lot easier to manage.

And you're absolutely correct - better to have a backup than to risk losing everything.

I have Incremental backups running, meaning It only copies data that's changed since the last backup was performed.
