Seagull Attacks Drone #1
I found this story pretty hilarious, and thought I'd share it with you all. I'm not sure whether this is a particular common or uncommon occurrence, but it's the first I've heard of it. A seagull in Scotland attacked a drone and took it out, causing damage to the drone.

Code:
A black-headed gull brought down a drone over a school in south west Scotland. A roof survey was being carried out at Stranraer Academy in July when the attack occurred. An Air Accidents Investigation Branch report said the pilot had never experienced the "level of aggression" shown by the bird. It attacked the 6kg (13lb) drone, causing it to crash on the school roof and suffer substantial damage. The incident happened at about 12:20 on 8 July. The AAIB report said all "normal pre-flight checks" had been carried out, including an assessment of potential bird interference.

This Is hilarious.

I didn't think seagulls had the capability to take down such a well-constructed piece of machinery.

I hadn't noticed my little spelling mistake there. That's what I get for posting when I'm tired and not waiting until morning! xD

I had no idea they could. I also don't understand why they would want to?

I actually noticed It straight away.

The "l" Is next to the "k", so It's easy to make a typo. I've made many errors and will Inevitably make more.

It's certainly out of character for this type of behavior with seagulls.

I'd love to know what It was thinking at the time of the attack.

I think it was an act of kidnaping, hah. And bird simply wanted to get some food as a ransom.

I generally agree with that sentiment, though I'd like to point out, nobody was messing with that bird. It was pure chance that the bird flew towards it (as evidenced in the article, where they mentioned no unusual bird activity), and human beings are every much a part of mother nature as a bird is. I'd argue this is more coincidence than fate xD

I like your thinking...

But it is their area not the drone's area, I mean nature didn't find the drones
