I suppose I could substitute "work" for school since I dont go to school anymore. I enjoy my time off. I usually take a week off in April, two weeks off in December and a few sporadic days off here and there. I'd rather be bored at home than slaving away at work, thats for sure.

Going to school is alright to catch up with your mates and the school stuff within that. But for holidays in the other hand, is much peaceful. I mean, think about all of the hard work you've done in school and all of the happy times as well.

There is plenty of time to catch up with your mates or even school work that interests you to do during the holidays, if that matters.

I like school, apart from the going to classes bit. It's great to meet up with your friends and hang out a bit, whilst on the holidays, a lot of them have their own plans and it's harder to meet up with them as often.

IN a choice between being told that I HAVE to be somewhere - Ie: School - and being able to set my own rules and do whatever the hell it is that I wanted to do - Ie :Holidays - I am going to choose the holiday every single time. But I am someone that really despised school, and just didn't like going. I was pretty popular too, so in a lot of people's eyes I had a reason to be unhappy.

I eventually stopped attending in 11th grade. Still passed with flying colors though

I hate school to the core. I love holidays. But why is it that holidays are always very short. Schools should reduce the number of working days from 5 to 4 so there would be an equal balance between the no of working days and holidays.

When I was still young, I frequently refused to go to school. I've always preferred not going to school especially during my elementary years. As I grew up through high school and post-graduate school, I realized the importance of education. In addition, I've been doing freelance work as well as getting involved in extracurricular activities. Through these activities, my resolve towards studying has never been better. That is why I now choose school over holidays.
