What religion are you and why? I'm somewhere between agnostic and atheist, not actually sure what I believe right now, but I was raised a Christian.

I guess I'd categorize myself as an agnostic atheist. Although I think this need of everyone having to be part of a category/belief system is rather silly. If asked, I usually just say that I don't know what I am and get some puzzled looks in return. I'm not too fond of organized religion anyway.

i was raised christian. later in college i studied Buddhism for years. i the grass isn't greener on the other side. after having lived in both mindsets i don't think either mindset is attuned to reality. so i left both behind and now don't have any superstitions. i lack the belief in higher beings said to exist. all of them.
anyway not to hijack this thread but to offer up evidence against Buddhism and show how it isn't so peaceful just google "dorje shugden" basically that's a tibetan buddhist "saint" if you will, and the Dalai lama decided that it is pure evil. anyone who practices that is to be kicked out of their monasteries. since it was an edict from HHDLTG himself, people have internalized it and began shunning the exiles that were kicked out. they are constantly downtrodden and fought with, forced to move, conspired against, sometimes killed, and local shops discriminate against them. they can't shop there. it goes on and on
the premise of religion is to server others. under the influence of religion this is completely forgotten and most followers feel the need to "fix" everyone else around the world because to them, they are wrong and need help. this is bigotry at its finest level, not accepting another human being AS THEY ARE assuming them incorrect in all matters of life.
tldr buddism is guilty of dividing people just as much as any other religion. sorry for the long post.

Was going to start a new thread, but I figured I might as well just gravedig one that already exists.
I am a Spiritual Satanist. It makes the most logical sense of any religion I've practiced and/or studied.

I am somewhat atheist, but I derive most of my morals out of buddhism.
