As the owner of the site, I understand people value consistency, and I know downtime is bad for activity. Sometimes it's impossible to plan around mess-ups like these, so downtime happens. I do my best to keep the site up and lately I haven't been doing a good job. Sorry.

The site had been down for about 8-10 hours last night. This is unusual for our site, as we normally have pretty decent uptime. Additionally, there had been rumors that the site was hacked. Due to a recent wave of trolling from a less-reputable site, these rumors managed to spread more than they should have.

First, I would like to let everybody know that the site was not hacked, and that the site had not been tampered with. Please disregard any other rumors you hear suggesting that it was. Our hosting had made a mistake, despite their level of expertise, and I don't believe this will ever happen again in the future.

Everything on the site should work as it had before and there should be absolutely no issues at all. Additionally, I would like to remind everybody that I keep consistent backups of the site, and if the site is ever attacked I have plans in place to bring it back up.

That's actually impossible - considering you have to wait 30 seconds between each post.
Therefore 30 x 15 = 450. 450 / 60 = 7.5 minutes. That's quite a long way off from 2 minutes.

Whenever I join a forum I like to read the rules & the announcement section first to get the basic guidelines of how the forum works. If you have a problem with that, then you can have a proper discussion with me, and I'd expect your spelling to be up to scratch if we do that.
