Rectal Bomb Scare at Hospital 12-07-2021, 02:03 AM

Many interesting stories some from the UK, but this one I just can't explain. A man went to A&E (that's the Emergency Room for the American's among you) because he had an object in his rectum that needed removing. The object? Merely a WWII artillery shell. Since there was munition in his rectum, the bomb squad were called. They turned up at the A&E department in a hospital in Gloucester, England. It turns out, luckily (is that the right word here?) the munition was not live and posed no danger to the public. The only danger was to the man's rectum. The anti-tank shell was part of the man's military memorabilia collection, which explains why he had it in his position. Perfectly normal right? What was not normal, was his explanation for how it got there. You guessed it: The "slipped and fell" excuse was used.
