The movie named "Orphan" just came to mind.

I watched It many years ago, and loved It. There's a twist which I never Imagined happening.

I read somewhere (could be complete bull) that the orphan was based on a true story. I'll have a quick search and post anything interesting I find.

I'm not sure whether It's based on true events.

Around 10 years ago, a friend unexpectedly came over with the DVD and pizzas and forced me (so to speak) to watch It. I'm glad I did- I loved every minute of It.

I just finished watching it, damn that is a good plot. Obviously you know there is something wrong with her from the start, but never in a million years would I have thought it would be that. (No Spoiler)

Everytime she looked at someone I thought she was gonna do some kind of jedi mind trick and make their heads explode, or control them to jump off a bridge or something.

I'm ashamed to say that child's play is the only one of them that I have watched. I have meant to watch it and annabell but never got around to it.
