@"Poochy", @Mom, and @Kizaru have been banned for breaking the rules. It's no surprise that I've been deleting threads pertaining to the bans, as they have been cluttering "Today's Posts". Since all of the members in question were inactive at the time of their ban, I don't think their bans are worth discussing. However, it's apparent that the members of SL would like me to provide a bit more information about the bans.

@Kizaru and @"Poochy" were banned for disrespecting staff. @"Poochy" was also banned for running a competing forum, which isn't allowed if you are a group leader. Evidence was found after the ban showing that he had advertised said forum to group members. @Mom was banned this morning for spamming. Regardless of the content of the thread, it was spammed multiple times without consideration of the rules.

That being said, all members were banned for legitimate reasons. However, as administrator, I still reserve the ability to ban members as I see fit. It was determined that all three members were not a boon to the community and would only cause further issues if they remained a part of it. Because one of the bans involves a competing forum, I've had to delete threads pertaining to it.

I'll gladly discuss my decisions with you all, but discussion of these bans are restricted to this thread. Links are not allowed and discussion must remain respectful.

At the end of the day, if you put 2-3 years of effort and $1000+ into a website only to have someone disrespect you... You'd be well within you're right to ban them.

I don't consider them "senior members". As for the disrespect - nobody enjoys being disrespected. I wasn't concerned about their opinion of me. I was, however, concerned about their opinion of the forum.

So I take it you won't be discussing the logs and statements that @Kizaru and @"Poochy" provided? If you want to have an open and honest conversation about what happened, you really have to address the information in that file. You certainly don't have to, but sometimes silence speaks louder than words.

The information in the text file you linked contained snippets of private conversation logs. There is a fair amount of inaccuracies in the text file. Where it was hosted was an additional concern.
