Might I ask, were there any tutorials you used to learn for shading and so on?
Also unlike coder I say a 9 out of 10 (it's a bit messy like he said) however I think the curvurture adds a bit of human imperfection.

Well, there weren't any tutorials I used to learn shading. What I did was kind of trial and error sort of method. I had look at other people's pencil sketches and tried imitating them first. When I got use to using the kind of shades they used, I use to convert images to grayscale to get a better knowledge of the shade I had to use. I still think it was ridiculous of me to even do that
Now I can sketch and shade normally without such kind of aid
