Thanks for your tutorial I never have coded in python because someone got me started with vb6 but now that Ive seen this tutorial I really wish I would have started out with python it isnt as complex tho it seems. Thank again my friend

Usually I would say it doesn't matter which language you start with, but VB 6.0 is 15 years old. It isn't maintained anymore. Microsoft moved on to .NET, which supports lots of languages on one platform.
So if you ask me: Don't choose a language that doesn't have a future.

Neither VB6 nor Python seem complex to me. Both are considered as easy to learn.

If you want a good language recommendation you should make your goals clear. Like which platforms you want to write for, what kind of applications you want to write, do you plan on getting a job or do you just want to do programming as hobby etc.

Deque thats pretty good advice...I had a friend whose dad codded along time ago for a living and the language he coded in eventually wasn't supported anymore and he lost his job..needless to say lesson learned one should pick a language that will still hold value in the future...

I'm just letting users know that soon I will be making a python video tutorial, then also expanding this tutorial and making it much neater, and that I'll also be showing you how to make your very own simple number guessing game!

The fact that one of my tutorials was even thought of to be good enough to be listed in a multi listing thread like that gave me ambition to further improve my tutorials.
