Prices comparison #1
I had an interesting discussion with @Rebel about prices in different countries the other day, and that inspired me to open up this thread.
Basically, this is just so people can see how many USD does the same item cost at different parts of the world.

You can use Google to calculate how many USD is your currency worth. For example in Croatia we use Croatian Kunas (HRK). So if something costs 10HRK I can go to Google and input "10hrk in usd". It will tell me that 10 Croatian kune = 1.73726 U.S. dollars.

You can do that as well, for your currencies. This way, it will be fair enough, since everyone is using same currency conventer.

So, here are some basic price infos I want you guy to respond to:

-avg. hourly wages - 32 Croatian kune = 5.559232 U.S. dollars
-avg. bread price - 5 Croatian kune = 0.86863 U.S. dollars
-avg. milk price - 5,5 Croatian kune = 0,955493 U.S. dollars
-Nexus 4 price (brand new, without any contracts) - 4499 Croatian kune = 781.593274 U.S. dollars
-iPhone 5 64GB (brand new, without any contracts) - 8999 Croatian kune = 1 563.36027 U.S. dollars

I don't know about anywhere else but in the UK this thread wouldn't really work, since we have minimum wages for different age groups. We have like 50 different varieties of bread, and different sized milk cartons; the only thing which would really apply is the phone costs.

Also there is a Nexus 4 (8GB) and (16GB); I don't know which one you're talking about.

The iPhone 5 costs £699 (I have a 64GB).

Yeah I know. But I'm used to that, I live here for 17 years already lol.
Anyways, to discourage people from doing that our government puts higher taxes and stuff to anything that crosses our border and is more valuable than 30 dollars or so.

So ordering a 30 dollars thing could potentially cost around 37-38$, maybe higher.

Currency changes all the time, but I do think it's strange how currency works.

We also have few varieties of bread and milk, but they all average at those prices.

Also lol our "average" hourly wage was 30HRK - or so the politicians said. I mean, that could be the average when you consider there are people in politics who are paid 200+HRK per hour, and there are people who are paid 15HRK or so.
