Potholes in Ohio [Funny video] 05-12-2017, 12:07 PM

Video was shot in Youngstown, OH. I live in Pittsburgh, which is about an hour away but I'm still close enough to the Ohio state line to recognize this nonsense and it's not just in Youngstown it's in ALL of East Ohio. Is this what my tax dollars are paying for? Shitty roads in a nation that holds people that chop their penises off as more important. Yeah, okay.
I've driven all across the Ohio Valley. Steubenville, East Liverpool, East Palestine, Youngstown, Ashtabula, Akron, Cleveland, this is ridiculous. Even West Virginia isn't this bad and their roads are sub-par.

Pretty fucked up looking road imo, surprised it hasn't been replaced? Roads are being replaced daily where I'm at. About time they started doing something right.

That's pretty messed up.
It'll put the wheel alignment out Instantly, not to mentioned what'll happen to the car's suspension, bearings etc. I don't think I've seen (nor driven on) any road as worse as that.

Hah, Youngstown - they may as well have dirt roads from my experience. I'm in PA myself (~30min north of Pittsburgh) and going over to Ohio is a mess - pretty much any way other than taking I90 out of Erie leads you to roads which nobody's looked at in years for all I care so I'm not surprised.
There was a statistic from last year for OH that 25% of the bridges are structurally shit/just generally obsolete, and something over 40% of the roads were in bad shape which made drivers have at least like $200 in repair costs added on for just driving. Side roads, city roads, etc. - they're all screwed up. If I'm right (No clue if it's changed or not) they haven't changed gas taxes in years and rely on stuff like the highway trust fund to repair and replace the roads.

You actually have PennDOT? Damn, you're lucky - since it's all Amish or rednecks out here we've only got Hunting Season and Winter.
