P1L0T was supposed to do an Amazon Refund for me for an $800 order. He told me he can do it but that I had to pay upfront. Since he seemed trusted by other members and people were posting good things about him and his amazon service, I took the bite.

I sent him 10% of the cost for his service, upfront as he requested, and waited the 3 days he told me it'd take.
3 days overs and he sent me a message saying that he's on vacation but that he will have it done within 1-1.5 week or give me a full refund. I'm not desperate and I take his words for it so I wait.

Almost a week later, I message him again to see if he will be able to do it now and he replies that on Sunday he'll be doing it. I wait until Sunday, message him and got no reply for him until the next day in which he said he just got off the plane and it will be done tomorrow. Cool, finally. Well... he didn't do it. I had to keep messaging him for a full week with no replies from him until he finally replied on the weekend and told me it would be done tomorrow again. The next day, I came to Sinisterly just to see if there was any threads about him and I found a few scam reports so I got nervous but still had some trust in him. I asked him about the thread where he mentioned he was leaving and he just said that he was drunk. Okay,.. 11 hours after, I again asked about the Amazon and told him to send me a full refund if he still had not done the service and I'd wait until he could... No response there. The next day(yesterday this week) I message him again requesting that he send me a refund and also no response.

So right now I'm thinking I've been scammed or this guy is just really bad when it comes to talking to customers. Either way, I've been more than reasonable and have waited long enough. Every time he says he will finally do it he makes me wait again, and again. So if he's that busy I'd like for him to refund me as he told me he would if he couldn't do the refund or in time. Right now I think he hasn't even tried to do the Amazon Service, and suddenly I see scam reports about him and thread about him leaving I'm over here thinking he's exit scamming.

@"P1L0T" - Why is this about the 2nd scam report I've seen, but I've heard about an 'attempted scam' more than that. Have you worked on resolving them at all?

I find it funny how you make a goodbye thread once there are multiple scam reports revolving you coming up.

@"P1L0T", you have very bad customer service. Well done. If you want to run a business, please do it properly and help your customers, customers are valueable.

Either give SinisterLin a full refund or do this damn job for him, why would you scam for $80 anyway? I'm disappointed in you.

I dont know when you made this transaction, or deal, but @P1L0T has had issues like this before. tbh, you should have read up on him, and other threads before making the deal happen..

You're right. When I came into contact with him 3 weeks ago I only saw one scam report about him and that seemed to have been resolved... not sure though, but I was fine with paying upfront because in his Amazon Service thread people were vouching for him for large orders like mine which not many wanted to take. I'm quite new to this website and only joined to find someone who could do the Amazon Refund so seeing a few vouches from respected members was enough for me. I did not look into his history as much as I should've... big mistake :

Yet another member has fallen victim to (possibly) being scammed.

@"P1L0T" has already made a thread a few days ago stating he's leaving, so If he's true to his word, I highly doubt you'll find a resolution anytime soon. I wish you all the best In getting this sorted. Generally speaking (I don't know what really happened , so I'm not for or against this scam report) , no one deserves financial loss due to the Indecency of others.
