As neat and proper as they may make it sound to be, it could very potentially be a waste against simple things. Love to get my hands on one, just to break and abuse. See just how falliable it could be. iirc they can do a similar thing with WiFi that allows them to map out rooms, maybe it was a theory. But it at least seems more solid than radio.

I remember reading about the wifi thing, where they could use the way the radio waves bounce to basically "see" inside a room. I think this unit is defeated by concrete or metal walls.

Also defeats the purpose if they don't have WiFi. I've been to grow ops that don't. Everything local network run, and I think one of them had waffle against this type of thing @ OP. Makes me wonder how the sound proofing, and noise dampeners would affect OP machine.

OT: Maybe with a warrant? Issued before the date that the device is used. Many authorities conduct surveillance without warrants and then apply for one if they find anything interesting.

Can think of great military uses.

Not just for Military and Police, but for firemans and other professionals.

Hidden Lesson: Reactions are always instinctive whereas responses are always well thought of.
