Why was the DDoS necessary?

You do have a valid point. With their servers, I suppose they didn't anticipate the magnitude of It's popularity, hence cannot accommodate It's users.

A DDoS Is a mediocre form of attack- as It only serves a temporary Inconvenience.

Gotta disagree. It can cost companies like this millions.

It appears all their domains have also been taken down.

In terms of downtime pertaining to the cost factor, certainly so.

My comment Is more so related to the website Itself and nothing more.
