C# > VB

Let me say that, even though I agree on your statement, that's subjective (there are people who think VB [| French] is better than C# [| English]). Also, I don't think all of the French people will speak French 'cause they think it's 1337. Probably some don't know English, and the same is for programming.

There are different reasons for that one should learn different languages. There would be no reason at all to code every possible program in ASM just because ASM > everything else.

you're right about that.

but if someone uses .NET, why not start right away with C#?
I know Visual Basic and I would never go back to it.
C# is great, while Visual Basic was always a pain in the ass.
