Do you believe peace can ever truly be achieved. I personally think it can be achieved, but for the most part it's more of a ceasefire of sorts, both sides just don't attack for a period of time, and eventually the peace breaks. What do you think?

I do not believe that there will ever be peace, people are too ignorant & selfish in that matter.
When i see at young people now a days, they smoke weed at 12 years of age, i see in newspapers that 13 year olds rob 70 year old people.
How can those generation be our future? how could it possibly be peace when those who is our future is that brain damaged?
So, no i don't think there will ever be peace, it will just get worse.

Depends on what kind of peace you're talking about. Positive direction or in a negative sense. If it's conflict peace. Then no. There will always be human beings who want more.

Peace will never be achieved. Why you ask? Humans are creatures of chaos, we strive and move towards chaos at all times. We fight wars to achieve peace, we yell out peace in the name of war. Talking about peace and at the same time yearning for war is something only humans are capable of. It is our nature to its very core. Humanity have survived for as long as it has because of our will to surpass the ones above us, our enemies. However, today and in the past millenniums we have only had ourselves to surpass, causing wars. That will continue as long as humanity exists or until a common and strong enemy is discovered.
If that happens then we will have a small window of peace, one that will not last. Any lasting peace is achievable.
