Just pick something and go, honestly programming takes time, python is quick and its interactive, meaning feedback, much of programming is reading documentation, getting syntax right and putting it together. You can do really simple things in python quickly, like math and printing text, and determining the length of word, but to do anything super cool takes time. Do not expect to be a master of programming quickly; i.e. learning a language in 24 hours, like some books say, The easiest example I can give to you is using English.

^^^^ The paragraph above represents, a high degree of fluency, similar to what you may have after six months say of studying machine code, it just depends on how fast you can learn. I am not much of a coder myself, although I can abstractly solve a programming problem, translating into machine code is difficult for me, its something I am just now grasping. The key is having someone that can explain things in a way you can understand, so that you can grasp the initial concepts better. I hope this example finds you well. Since I can't study Computer Science here in my country, I've decided to study whatever, but really dedicate myself to learning online.
I've started very slowly from HTML/CSS.. and I keep peeking on Network+ courses and Security+ courses.. A lot of people say they're fundamental in Cyber security

The thing that I always mention when seeing these threads, is what do you want to accomplish? Different languages are better for the development of different things. Is it a game you want to create? Maybe you want to create a program that would be useful to any education system you attend?

I honestly find myself using C alot more then any other language, not so much of c++, buy i do also use python a good bit.
