So, does anyone here dislike their partner's family?

For me, I despise them.

As I type this they're outside burning a wood she's highly allergic to outside, after she's said she's already getting reactions from it. She's allergic enough that she might have to go to the hospital for this. Wouldn't that be classified as reckless endangerment or something along the lines, since they actively know she could go to the hospital for it. They do shit like that a lot, even tried to sell the dog she paid for; getting pissed with her when her uncle isn't doing his job or when someone around the house does something stupid. They've even fucking said God was punishing her when something terrible happened to her.

But seriously, can they be convicted with reckless endangerment? Neglect? Anything? This shit is getting too much.
They don't even buy food for their house anymore, they eat what she buys - even though she's highly allergic to a lot of the food and she only buys food she can eat/she likes; then tell her to eat the stuff that she's allergic to.

One thing they must realize, Is that It's their "child's life" and not theirs. The moment their child becomes an adult, finds a partner and establishes relationship, the parents are no longer part of the equation. Period.

Unfortunately, as long as she lives with her grandparents, she has to abide by their rules. It's their home, hence It's their way of living for everyone under that roof.

But once you both get a place of your own, no one (and I mean "no one") can tell you what you can/cannot do In your very own home. I had massive Issues with my ex-partner's family, namely the parents. Initially, out of respect, I didn't day anything but once It became too much, I simply told them that I'm the master of my domain and they have no right to dictate any happenings In my place of residence.

Unfortunately, as long as she lives with her grandparents, she has to abide by their rules. It's their home, hence It's their way of living for everyone under that roof.
