you realize that the ps4 came out like 4 years ago.

You realise that it still costs a shit ton more right? I am one of those people who got her first ever brand new laptop aged 20 and only because it was a birthday present. It's the only new PC I've ever had. Buying the latest tech isn't really of interest or much use to me financially xD I'm cool with a PS3 as I wouldn't be playing constantly but allows me to enjoy gaming away from my laptop without breaking my bank.

I'm also looking for games that are multiplayer but suitable for female newbs as my housemates will want to play but none of them are gamers.

The thing is, I don't have $300. I bought my PS3 for under $60 and it's 160GB. I don't need the newest stuff. Just wanted something to game on that wasn't my laptop and that didn't cost much.

Currently cannot connect it to the TV though... So may still have been a waste of money.
