PHP and Python - Comparing Two Popular Web Development Languages #1
Greetings, Sinisterly coders,

When it comes to web development, two languages are often compared - PHP and Python. Both have a strong following and each brings unique features to the table. But, which language is best suited for the task at hand?

Let's discuss - what makes PHP and Python unique, and what are some real-world examples of these languages in use? How do they compare on key metrics like speed, performance, and ease of use? Share your thoughts and experiences with these popular web development languages and let's compare notes on what makes them both great.

I'm a newbie myself, I'm doing my first year of software engineering in college and personally, I find PHP way better. PHP is easier to setup, the coding language is way easier to read overall, one of the reasons why my grades are the highest in PHP basically lol.

Python's got tons of libraries which makes it super powerful, even if it's not just for web dev. PHP still rocks for small websites and quick projects though. What's your take?

I think PHP is specifically designed for server-side web development, making it ideal for creating dynamic web pages. Meanwhile, Python is a general-purpose language used in web development, data analysis, artificial intelligence, automation, and more.

I agree with the user above. PHP main task is for the development of backend technology (it can be used for other type of applications tho, but still not his strong suite).
