One Animate Cafe will offer new virtual experiences for its customers. The "VR Theater" service will launch at the Animate Cafe Kyoto location on November 3 and will give visitors the opportunity to use maneuver gear in the world of Attack on Titan, watch a Hatsune Miku concert, or get voice acting pointers from Daisuke Namikawa.

Apparently there is a bunch of content that is more like a 3D theatre experience. Including Death Note, horror sequences, Ghost in the Shell and more. I thought this was pretty cool. They charge a cheap fee for headset rental and then charge fees based on content. Would you go to an animation cafe if you had one in your locality? I feel like it'd be something I'd try, but perhaps not frequent.
It suits Japan to have cafe's like this since they have schools that are dedicated to Virtual Reality.
