A new series is being made for Spice and Wolf. It sounds like instead of a sequel, it will be an entirely new anime starting from the beginning.

Enjoyed the original show, so I'm surprised they chose to go with a fresh start.

Definitely worth a go! It's quite heavy on the economics talk which is unique for an anime, and it never really went in the direction I was expecting, which was nice to not watch something predictable!

Very interesting, watched the original around a year or two ago and enjoyed it. Wonder what their plan is for the new series if it will be more of a remaster of the original story of more of a spin off. Looking forward to see what they do.
