Synopsis:
D.Gray-man follows the story of 15-year-old Allen Walker, whose left arm can transform into a monstrous claw and destroy Akuma, evil machines created by the Millennium Earl to help him destroy humanity. Allen is sent to recover pieces of Innocence, a substance that gives the Exorcists the ability to destroy Akuma. The Earl decides to call together the Noah Family, superhuman descendants of Noah who can destroy Innocence. Both sides start the search for the Heart, the most powerful piece of Innocence that will ensure victory to the side that finds it.

Overall:
Overall I would give D.Gray-man a solid 8/10. Definitely one of the better animes out there, but there are better. The storyline can get dry at times, but a definite anime that should be on one’s list.

D-Gray Man really reminds me of another manga series called Witch Hunter. I'd suggest it to anyone who was a fan of the former.

I watched this anime on tv. It's pretty good, and interesting once you get into it. But I would advice starting from the beginning, so you understand it a little better. I never got into it because I started in the middle, in addition to it being in a foreign language to me.

People still do that nowadays? Serious inquiry.

Ever since discovering the joys of torrenting and DVR, I don't think I can ever properly watch television ever again.

Besides it's a channel dedicated to anime Wink

As I do with every new review, unless given permission by the author to add all his reviews, I will always ask the author if I can add the review to the archive. Please let me know if this can be added or if you wouldn't like it added to the list. Thanks!
