I finally watched this show after it sat in my Plan to Watch list on Kitsu.io for a long time. I don't actually recall who recommended it to, but THANK YOU.



The first few episodes were a little slow and I wasn't convinced with the animation style. Then the plot happened. I was totally hooked.
Has anyone else seen this show or read the manga? I am very tempted to purchase the manga. The show reminded me of Bleach (the first anime show I truly watched and probably wouldn't ever watch again), but much better. There's a bunch of other shows people compared it to in reviews as well. It seems to touch upon a lot of interests in anime.

I'm not a big fan of this kind of TV series, but Claymore is really good indeed! Ergo proxy also is a good show! I have seen it a couple of years ago, not sure if you can find it online.

Ergo proxy looks really cool. I think I tried to watch it before and couldn't get in to it. Some genres I really have to be in the mood to watch.
Claymore really surprised me! I did not have high expectations for it at all. I later saw that it has pretty good ratings and I can see why.

I tried to watch Ergo Proxy and it's one of the few anime I actually dropped after a couple episodes. Came across as super edgy and I wasn't keen on the protagonist. Might give it another try.

Sure! Shall do. I'm currently reading the manga for Claymore (which is a rare thing for me to do)... It's better than the show. Lot's of "holy crap/omg!" moments and many mind fucks. Totally hooked again!
