Okay, thats kinda ridiculous. I had to pay tax once that was more than the item was worth, so I got really screwed over by the shipping and the tax

I hate being surprised by tax. In the UK I'm so accustomed to having tax included in advertised prices. I understand that there's different tax systems in different places, but realistically, it's not that hard to set a website or store up to have their prices automatically include the tax according to the consumers region. It's just laziness. It's not like you get to decide whether you're going to pay tax or not, you have no choice. Therefore, include it in the damn price advertised. I don't mind if I have to select country/region to do it.

update thanks to your post I just spent $150 (six bottles) on attack on titan and ghost in the shell sakes and plum wines lol The proxy fee and shipping wasn't too bad , really only worth it to get multiple things at once though rather than just one at a time. Thanks for introducing me to a new side of collecting I didn't know I needed.
