I am unplugged from the news so a lot of things escape me but I'm not aware of this. In my town a good majority of hotels have been full of immigrants for well over a year now that the government have been housing. My perspective (having already stated its very much local and uninformed) as someone just living in the UK is that we are accepting them into our towns, sometimes to it's detriment, as much as we can.
If there's something going on like the Windrush scandal still then we ought string up the politicians.

Its a bit shit tbh, everythings expensive, fuel, food, electricity, rent. Not enough housing so buying property is expensive and stuck in renting cycle. 1 year wait list for NHS appointments
