To be honest, I don't like the ideas of transgenders and transsexuals. It's not the natural way of life. Putting aside my feelings towards the topic, it's up to the person who wants to go through with the process. It's not my life and if that is what they enjoy, enjoy it.
The only real issue that I have with the topic is when people, who went through the process, begin to force everyone else to accept them. It's not up to the transgender to be accepted by everyone around them, just as it isn't up to everyone else if they go through with it.
Technically speaking, for the people who go through with the sex-change surgery, at this point in time it is genital mutilation since... well... you lose your genitilia and the power to reproduce. In however many year that might change, or it might not.

I don't have any problem with transsexuals, I believe is their right to be who they want however they want unless they are hurting someone in the process. I would not hook up with one, though, since the thought that they we previously a man would throw me off, but I'm fine having transsexual friends. I'm not gay, so I would not hook up with a man, same thing goes for a transsexual, since they are still biologically male. I would accept them for who they are, just not have a romantic relationship with them. It would be different if in the future people could be biologically genderless and then be able to choose their gender when they grow up, just like in Knights of Sidonia. If that were the case, the person would truly be a woman. Also, anyone who tries to force their beliefs on other people are in the wrong. If you want to change someone's views, being annoying is not the way to do it.

I think people just want to be trans because they think they do. A lot of them look deformed because they think they truly should be someone else who they weren't made to be. They try changing themselves to the point where it isn't helping them or anyone else. Otherwise, i think the true transgenders are ones with mismatched sex organs born like that. I don't have any problems with someone with a medical condition.

It's their decision and provided their choice to become the opposite gender has no negative Impact In any way, shape or form on society or any persons Involved, then so be It.

relationship psychology class had many topics on this nature. identity and gender being one thing and the sex of an organism another. that said its just that. people are people, regardless of what sex organ they carry. some feel more feminine and feel being a man isnt right for them. I can totally understand that! vice versa its the same for me. what matters is their personality, how you two get along, if you two really click... that is all that is needed for a relationship to develop. sex really is strictly for reproductive means. now I know, we all ENJOY sex ... so there is the desire aspect as well, but that is not part of ones identity. I totally support people who explore new frontiers or boundaries EVEN IF i dont understand them, or am participating myself. simply because they are human. and they deserve to be loved all the more.

the politics of this topic disgust me... people take things way out of context and make it something its not. they often do not understand as they are not the one going thru the change or crisis or decision to simply be different than they were born into. in those terms, the ones whom it does not apply to, imo, is none of their fucking business... its none of your business what my wife and I do, how we do it.. .etc. and it sure as fuck is none of my business who anyone else dates or has relations with. the only time is it MY business, imo, is when they make it my business, ie, asking me to present my opinion or for advice.

I respect people because they are people. TILL they act like a racist, bigot, hater, or are simply disrespectful, then i will chime in and i will give them all fifteen cents to get the fuck out before i flip the fuck out on them. I typically get upset when people are breaking down others because of some "difference" but again, ive seen people explode before my eyes, sex or sexual preference have little to no difference in my views, we are all deserving of the same rights and respect and protection. when someone violates others, i usually dont mind kicking in a few teeth to let them know what it feels like. and I know that is wrong of me, not my place. ... but i do it anyway. and i do it cause i care. i know its not right of me. but ill stand up for anyone who is getting bullied or singled out. basically because i got A LOT of that shit myself growing up and im no skinny defenseless kid. this heart of mine is deep and i wont tolerate it in my presence where ever i go.

that said, go for it! if you two are happy together, be happy together. I have a few gay and trans friends myself, and id take a fucking bullet for them. because I love them.

I used to support the LGBT community until it exploded into glorified pedophilia and degeneracy. They were given several chances, and they turned into sub-humans who exploit children to get their message across. Don't believe me, or don't want to believe me? No, 7 year olds can NOT be LGBT, no 10 year olds CANNOT choose their gender, and no, KIDS should not be exposed to this environment.
