The bank always pays for victims after the fraud.

Jumping in on this really late but oh well. Like I've seen others mention a few times, SEing and carding are 2 entirely different evils. When SEing, many of us rationalize our decision by acknowledging that when SEing a company, they're really not losing anything. A imperceptible loss in profits, which at the end of the day doesn't directly impact anybodies life. When you're carding, you're not imperceptibly going after a massive corporation but instead attacking a tiny individual, with consequences that will actually impact their life and cause them grief. That's why and how I draw the line.

The stories and information posted here are artistic works of fiction and falsehood. Only a fool would take anything posted here as fact.

Generally with our forum, I figured this went without saying. However, recent discussion has led me to believe otherwise. People are encouraged to read and follow our rules, especially those regarding illegal content. You have been warned - @Oni

Well if I am completly honest, back then I didn't mind when someone was carding but after a few months I realized that it is horrible.
Sure you could say the person doesn't suffer except from time & in general paperwork n' stuff but what about the Companies? They might also cut loans and so on.

I'm just completely against that stuff. That's why I am happy that this board doesn't tolerate carding at all.

Individuals work at the companies you're hurting. When the company loses out on its bottom line, guess whose wages get cut? You're hurting someone else, for personal gain.

Huh, I have never really realized that mabey I'm too short sighted to think about what I'm doing. I think I agree with you and that anyone is capable of doing bad things due of how desperate they can be.

Just out of curiosity is there any particular reason that SE'ing is permitted on this fourm(and many others) and carding is not.
also curious

Carding is directly a violation of the rules because, while social engineering is illegal in most cases, it's not always damaging to companies or individuals. Carding would also draw a lot of attention, and there are no doubt already many feds lurking around in waiting. Best not to give them reason to focus on Oni, who is hosting a forum, not an English carders[]cc.

Social Engineering also has more than just legal implications. It can be used to get you a job, or get a promotion in your current work force. It's not *all* bad, unlike carding.

Also, most carding is done stupidly, in addition to being done against innocent members of society. It's not a question of "if" but rather "when" you will be v&.

used to be one (in minecraft).it just gotten too hard recently with all the security measures put in place and the risk to reward ratio has gotten smaller recently. alot of people are saying you are severely hurting individuals, which isn't true with small scale carding mostly, the biggest hit is taken by the companies (usually small because they have less security measures)
in short: dont do it

It's hard to measure the severity, but companies always come out on top. If they're facing a large amount of claims, you might see prices/rates increase or employee wages decrease. It's never immediate/apparent.

Not judging anyone, but no sense in lying to yourself. If you're going to do shitty things, understand the implications. Or delude yourself into thinking you're some sort of Robin Hood, fighting the big bad companies.
