I've never really been into Opeth, but their new studio album, Sorceress, and especially the title track changed that. The intro is a little "what the fuck is going on here?", but aside from that it's all great guitar work, clear lyrics, and solid bass and drum lines.

Eh, they're a bit too raw for me. Their music seems kind of amateur or indie to me and I know that may sound condescending but it is how I feel. If you like this style try Gojira:

Oh man, Gojira is great. I really like them, but I can only listen to their music in hour-long periods before I get sick of it.
