OnlyFans has decided to ban all pornographic content on their platform, beginning in October. OnlyFans stated that they needed to comply with their investors. It's also very likely that profit goals were not met either. And due to all of the porn that's hosted on the platform, it's only available in web form. It hasn't made its way into the iOS or Android app stores.

The U.K.-based company said it is making the changes “to comply with the requests of our banking partners and payout providers,” in a statement provided to Variety.

Effective Oct. 1, 2021, “OnlyFans will prohibit the posting of any content containing sexually explicit conduct,” the company said in a statement. “In order to ensure the long-term sustainability of the platform, and to continue to host an inclusive community of creators and fans, we must evolve our content guidelines.”

You will still be allowed to post nudity, but only if it features "Public nudity within a jurisdiction where public nudity is legal."

According to OnlyFans, creators will continue to be allowed to post content containing nudity “as long as it is consistent with our Acceptable Use Policy.” The site’s terms currently allow nudity except in the case of content featuring public nudity recorded in or broadcast from a jurisdiction where public nudity is illegal.

Looks like all of the women with an IQ below room temperature are in big trouble.

Hopefully this'll be an eye opener for many of the people my age, overall I don't particularly like the rules that the bank are enforcing but this might lead to good things.

Pretty much. Patreon already serves that niche, and they allow some NSFW creators.

Similar things happened to Pornhub recently. VISA and Mastercard did not like that there was revenge porn (porn uploaded without consent) on the site so they halted all transactions, which was only reversed after Pornhub deleted millions of unverified videos. You will notice all videos are from verified accounts now.

Not sure if that was the case here, but i agree that if you're not in alignment with Paypal, Visa and mastercard' values you're basically done for. Ofcourse there are plenty of other payment methods but those are often more regional
