Onigiri is an MMO Action RPG with a fast weapon changing battle system set in a mythical Japan. Join a party of other players or travel with 8 NPC companions on your journey!

Funnily enough, there's a game with a similar name to mine that I recently started hearing about. The name is a play on words I assume, since the character for Oni (check my signature) is present in the logo, and there is also a food called onigiri (posted below).



I just started playing, but was wondering if anybody else has heard of the game, or if they are playing. So far it seems like a pretty decent MMO, a cross between Guild Wars and Mabinogi, although the graphics aren't the best in the world. I have posted a trailer below.

I have been seeing a lot of ads as well, which is why I decided to try it out.

He's probably seeing advertisements for the game. I've seen a couple, although I'm not sure if I saw any on Youtube.

I know, but if he's getting ads because of your username, that means it must be based on search/video history, or something.

I'd love to play, but I have absolutely no self control when it comes to MMORPGs. The last one I played - Maplestory - made me grind hours on end every day until I reached level 200, and I finally called it quits when they raised the cap to 250.

It looks like a fun game, nevertheless.

You're not the first person I've heard that from. Personally, I get bored of MMOs really easily nowadays. I'm not playing any consistently right now.

Only MMO i've been able to sustain with is World of Warcraft, have been playing for about 5 years now.

I think it's almost impossible for me to play most games "casually" nowadays. I either drop it after playing it for a few hours, or dedicate all my gaming time toward a single game.

Which, right now, is GGSD.
