COLUMBUS, Ohio - An Ohio woman pleaded guilty Friday to helping plan the killings of eight members of a family, becoming the second member of her own family to admit to a role in a shocking crime prosecutors say stemmed from a dispute over custody of her granddaughter.

She is 50 years old, she essentially did get life - although, time works differently in jail, I guess.

It's certainly possible that she may live 10-15 years beyond that, which Is 10-15 years short of a life sentence.

In my view, her sentence Is a slap on the wrist.

Can you Imagine how friends and relatives of the family would feel about such a lenient sentence? Depending on where you reside, armed robbery In the first degree carries a maximum penalty of 25 years. That's 5 years shy of murdering 8 Individuals.
