Do explain why you don't like OSX though. Just wondering how your experience with it has left such a bad impression.

I honestly have no qualms with the OSX operating system. It's just from a gamers perspective, the mac OS is inferior to windows or even main stream Linux flavors. The need just isn't enough on Mac for games.

Yep, I completely understand this. PC gaming isn't a factor for me, but to gamers I can definitely see how vital it is to be running windows.

He's a part of the "Apple products are shit but I can't give valid reasons" culture.

I recently switched to Windows 8 because my "version" of windows 7 was uhh.. not functioning properly and got fed up, purchased Windows 8.

It's really not to bad at all. Using multiple monitors with it is kind of a pain in the ass, but it is a smooth OS and no compatibility issues thus far.

Points to consider windows:
i. I like gaming
ii. I don't have money
iii. Even if I had some money, I would rather go for a high end Windows computer rather than a medium or low end apple computer at the same price.
iv. I don't like white color.

Example:
Apple MGX72HN/A MacBook Pro Notebook
--> 4th Gen Intel Core i5 Turbo Boost upto 3.1Ghz
--> 8GB RAM
--> 128GB SSD Storage
--> 13.3 Inches
-->Intel built-in Iris graphics

Costs 83,192INR in my country...

But meet this one,
Lenovo Y50-70 IdeaPad (59-431090) Laptop
-->4th Gen Intel Core i7 4710HQ Turbo Boost upto 3.5Ghz
-->8GB RAM
-->1TB HDD + 8GB SSD
--> 15.6 Inches- Windows 8.1
--> 4GB Graphics GeForce GTX 860M

Costs 73,790 INR

I think I made myself clear...

I hate Microsoft anyways. On my home computer I use Arch, though my school laptop uses Win7. Windows practically killed itself, especially with the WinXP support shit. I am very, very, sad to say, but OSX might just be better than Windows at this point. Especially Win8, as it's supposed to be touch based and isn't even good at what it does. And that GUI. Flat is okay, but they mixed shit with mud and called it chocolate.

OSX just because it's noob friendly and a *nix based system. Winblows 8 is also a fucking piece of shit anyways.
