Nightmares and dream types. #1
I thought of making a thread after the Tutorial about Lucid dreaming in the General tutorials sections.

I hope someone can understand what type of dreams I had...

Haven't told anyone till now... So I'll try to be good at describing this.

This is serious and not a joke.

Since I remember myself and till the age of 7, EVERY night I had nightmares. I knew I was dreaming, but I couldn't wake up! I was trapped in my nightmare. I could control myself but nothing else on the dream. When I tried to wake up or think of something else to escape from my nightmare, I just left the nightmare for like 1 sec and then it comes back. Whenever I was waking up, I was in the same position. So, a few times, I managed to wake up by shouting in my dream "WAKE UP!!!" and imagining im looking at my room int he position I am when I wake up. When I woke up these times I woke up REALLY suddenly and I was tired.

(Now it comes to the scary part)

Whenever the nightmare finished and I woke up and it was still night, I was hearing voices on my head and noises like in some movies when the heroes hear voices and their head hurts, and I was shivering like hell.

Also, some times while I was awake, I had illusions. The strange thing is that my brother saw the same illusion once (not the same time as I did and I wasn't with him Also, it was SCARY.

Also, one time before sleeping i saw my things moving (lights were off) and another time I heard a voice.

All these ended when I was 7 years old with a really strange way.
I was in a nightmare when suddenly I saw a white light and then someone came to me and told me that I won't see again nightmares.

From that day I haven't seen not even 1 nightmare and rarely dreams.

EDIT: 99% of the dreams ended when I was ready to die. Of course I couldn't see myself getting killed so maybe that's why I woke up.
1% of the dreams someone I knew dies and I cry. I remember many dreams I had. They weren't the type of dreams that you forget when you wake up.

Some times I saw earthquakes, tsunamis, wars....

I don't know if it has to do with the wars and the natural disasters happening now.

Also, Some times while trying to wake up, I had false Awakenings
I thought I finally woke up from my nightmare, but some seconds later,
I understood I didn't and the nightmare starts again...
That's why, it took some minutes to finally wake up for real and understand im awake and not asleep...

Another thing. All the dream stuff I had, match with something called:

Lucid nightmares.

The only thing is, that lucid nightmares doesn't explain the things that happened while I was awake!
It can't explain these:

"Whenever the nightmare finished and I woke up and it was still night, I was hearing voices on my head and noises like in some movies when the heroes hear voices and their head hurts, and I was shivering like hell.

Also, some times while I was awake, I had illusions. The strange thing is that my brother saw the same illusion once (not the same time as I did and I wasn't with him Also, it was SCARY.

Also, one time before sleeping i saw my things moving (lights were off) and another time I heard a voice."

Any idea what this is??? What type of dream this is?
I haven't told ANYONE cause I thought it's scary.

You could have experienced some sort of stress-related psychosis that was then resolved.

Of course, you could always make the religion argument, but I'd rather stick with science.

Do you remember any devastating events that happened?

Furthermore, you dream every night. You actually have several dreams, you just can't remember them or they'll seem to blend together.

It wasnt a lucid dream. I would have to research that actually. Interesting post.

Also, I've seen devastating events like earthquakes tsunamis.
But that was many years before these disasters actually happened.
Also, I saw a war. I don't think though that it meant that there will be war in Egypt, Libya, Syria, Israel, Gaza etc...

I updated the thread with more info I remembered.

Also, most things happened to me match to lucid nightmares but the rest of them cant be explained by it.

Perhaps, smaller events caused this.
However, it's still very odd. Can you remember any fine details? If so, PM me. I've done some dream interpretation before.

So, I asked my psychology teacher and she sais:

your dreams are the outcome of under-confidence and fear when your awake. You have obviously built up a large Napolean complex and your subconscious is telling you to drop your walls. The deaths of loved ones and your crying indicates that you are afraid to be alone and never want to lose the ones you love. However, you know eventually you will lose them and you are not mentally ready for it.

I hope this helps

Only the 1% of the dreams were about others dying. On the 99% i died. Also, people die in nightmares so I don't know.

What about the other things that happened? How are they explained?

Perhaps a fear of hurting your loved ones?

again that explains the fact that i had nightmares but doesnt explain anything else. Also, these weren't just nightmares. They were a sort of lucid nighmares
