Newb to Xfce Debian 08-21-2013, 02:11 AM

Well today I installed Xfce Debian on my computer, and so far I dislike it. Although I feel like I'm being to harsh on it. Because at first I hated Win 8, now I love it. So I'd like to ask you guys how I can optimize my Xfce experience, what programs, any tips, etc. Any and all help is appreciated.

Well I personally don't use xfce I will install it and start tinkering with it on my box. For the time being Google will likely have to suffice unless someone else knows about it.

I use XFCE + Debian. What do you dislike about it?

Since you're probably looking for a light experience (assuming because you picked XFCE) uninstall a desktop environment and get a windows manager, it would be much lighter.
