As I promised that we'd get a new staff member, I'd like to announce Xeronations is our site's newest addition to the staff team. For the next few days he'll be tested as a moderator and remain as one provided he meets with the challenges of moderating on the forum. If he does his job right, it means I'll have a bit less work to do, and I'll be able to add more stuff to the site.

Now, regarding the downtime. Unfortunately a few unsavory individuals got mad at a couple of members and decided to take their words personally. Clearly they are mad and taking their anger out on the forum. I just wanted to let everybody know that the forum will remain alive and it is not going to disappear over a bit of downtime. Don't worry, it will blow over in a few days.

Also, if you didn't notice, I won the lottery. This shouldn't normally happen, although I had purchased a few tickets. This lottery I won't buy as many tickets to make things fair.

Indeed. He deserves congratulations. Very few people will ever become staff on our forum, as I have extremely high expectations of staff.
